About Michael

I don’t know where to begin, really. I’m seventeen (17), enjoy immersing myself in the various aspects of computers, programmind, and photography, and am constantly yearning to learn more and more.

I like to think of myself as a sponge, really. If I see something, I remember it. If I see it more, I remember it more. If I see it even more, well - I think you get the basic idea.

As far as programming/scripting/whatever you term it is concerned, I’ve worked with HTML 4.01, XHTML, JavaScript, Microsoft C# (on the .NET 1.1 and 2.0 platforms), C++, PHP, Objective-C, and Python. Currently, I’m working dilligently to focus my attentions on HTML 4.01, C++, JavaScript, and Python as I feel they will provide the best set of knowledge. I will of course always rely on my sponge-like personality to pick up bits and pieces of other languages and, as I learn to enjoy and find uses for them, focus my attention on them as well.

I own a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi with an 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 and a 50mm f/1.8 prime. I wouldn’t call myself the world’s best artist, but the camera combined with those two lenses allows me to really capture the moment as I see it and it creates a sort of history for me - my very own Yearbook. It’s very important to allow for old-aged nostalgic experiences, and these photos will later on provide just that.

It’s important to know that I never, never, never say no. I will not give up, and if you provide a reasonable challenge, I will take it on. If you provide an unreasonable challenge, I too wil ltake it on. Although not so narrow-minded in terms of my views, opinions, and beliefs, I am very set on one thing: realizing my goals. I will always remind myself what they are and do whatever I can to make sure that they, at some point in my life, come true.

A long-winded “About Michael” page this indeed is, but I think it encompasses who I am fairly well. If not; leave a comment, drop me a line (read: email), etc.; and I will be sure to clarify whatever needs clarification.

Sincerely,

Michael
